COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Historical Society is situated in Dr. Woods' Annex, an historical building owned by New Mexico State Monuments. They are open to visitors on weekends during the summer.
The LCHS owns a significant collection of documents, books and photographs, including the Johnson Stearns Collection, and publishes a number of monographs about Lincoln County History and its characters. The society also sponsors lectures and visits to historic sites.
